- In May 2011, Dr. Carolyn Rodriguez published a pilot study on hoarding based on research compiled at and with EIS Housing Resource Center. The study is titled Prevalence of Hoarding Disorder In Individuals At Risk for Eviction in New York City: A Pilot Study.
- In April 2011, Executive Director of EIS, Audrey Tannen, and In-Service Learning Partners at Marymount Manhattan College were published in the Faculty Resource Network at New York University. Together, they co-authored an abstract called "Striving to Symbiosis: Developing a Partnership to Serve the Community and the Mission of a Liberal Arts Education."
- EIS was mentioned in The New York Times Article "To Test HousingProgram, Some Are Denied Aid" published on December 8, 2010.
- On November 19-20th, 2010; "Engaging Students in the Community and the World": A National Symposium hosted by Faculty Resource Network at New York University, EIS Executive Director, Audrey Tannen, presented as panelist with partners from Marymount Manhattan College.

On November 5, 2010, TD Bank Honored Community Organizations.
Congresswoman Carolyn Maloney joined with TD Bank officials to honor
community organizations for their outstanding services throughout the city. EIS Housing Resource Center was recognized for providing essential services and received a Community Service Grant from TD Bank. EIS Executive Director, Audrey Tannen,represented at EIS at the ceremony.
- On May 25th, 2010, The New York Times featured EIS client John Burke in an article entitled, "Vanishing Treasure- The Rent-Regulated Apartment". Without the successful intervention of EIS, Mr. Burke could possibly be living on the streets or in a shelter.

An MMC alumna, and previous EIS service-learner, paints and donates a mural for the waiting area at EIS. Both articles discuss the benefits of the service-learning partnership between Marymount Manhattan College and EIS.

entitled, "Once 'Very Good Rent Payers' Now Facing Eviction". The article begins on the
front page, and EIS is mentioned on page A-24
The article refers to several EIS clients and highlights the urgent need for organizations like EIS to provide services to assist the growing demographic of middle-class clients in danger of losing their homes.
